Barn Hunt has arrived in Dorset!
Barn Hunt is a fun and exciting sport that taps into your dog’s natural instinct to sniff and search.
The game is set in a barn (hence the name) filled with 30-or-so straw bales. Hidden somewhere is a sealed tube with holes in, containing a rat. Climbing over bales and crawling through tunnels, the aim is for your dog to use their nose to find the tube without getting distracted by the decoys.
Barn Hunt is suitable for absolutely all types of dog. It doesn’t matter what breed your dog is, their age or its physical fitness, any dog can take part in the fun and games.
The next Barn Hunt workshops in Dorset are taking place on the 28th July, at Nutley Farm, just outside Wool (between Dorchester and Poole). If you would like to book a space, you can do so here.
